🌱 Plant Trees, Power Cities, and Build a Clean World!

Clean World is an educational city-building game where kids design and grow a vibrant, carbon-neutral city. Players expand their city, make strategic choices about energy and carbon management, and see in real time how their decisions impact emissions. The game encourages exploration, experimentation, and understanding of real-world carbon challenges in a fun, hands-on way.

Who It’s For

Clean World is designed for elementary and middle school students, particularly those in rural or underfunded schools. The game helps students connect their love for wildlife and the environment to the real-world impact of carbon emissions. By making choices and seeing consequences in-game, students begin to understand the importance of sustainable decision-making.

Project Support & Funding

Clean World is developed by students in the Computer Simulation & Gaming (CSG) program at the University of Tulsa. This project is funded under the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge (TURC), with seed money from Chevron and sponsored by Tulsa Fab Lab.
